After learning ALL about the components of Soil, we created our edible soil!! This activity was so much fun! Thanks to all the parents who donated the ingredients :)

Dr. Seuss Week!!!
We have a lot of fun activities planned for Dr. Seuss Week!!!
We started by reading "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish" we then brought in our graphing we've worked so hard on and graphed some gold fish!!
Then, we read Cat in the Hat! We came up with rhyming words just like Dr. Seuss and then made our out "Cat in the Hat" hats!! :)
Soil!!
This week in Science, we are learning about the components in soil!! We took Science class outside today to observe some buckets of soil and then we took off to find soil in its natural form!
Our class LOVED this, I think they could have stayed outside all day!! :)
Parts of a Plant
Last week we learned all about the parts of a plant!!! On Friday, we put pieces of celery into cups of water with food coloring.
This let us see how the stem soaks up water and gets it to the leaves!
We recorded our observations in our Science notebooks and drew before and after photos! :)
