In Math this week, we were learning more about the equal sign!! We have seen the equal sign before, but this week we learned that an equal sign says, "Means the same as!!"
We learned that whatever is on the left side has to be the same as what is on the right side!
To practice this, WE became the number sentences and the equal signs!
Here, Jack, Nathan, and Spencer are sad because they are not equal!! :(
We added Ava and now everyone is happy!!! :)
Oh no, Benjamin, Ava, and Landon aren 't happy here! 12 and 16 are NOT equal!
Ahhh, that's better! 2+2+12 IS equal to 16!!! :)
